Functionalized inks for valve jet technology

Increasingly often, functional finishes must be applied on a selected part of the fabric, or integrated in the design. Examples are anti-odor finishes for the armpits, insect protection at the inside of a collar, stain repellents applied to the front of a shirt, and anti-abrasion for the elbow zone. Tanatex has developed an interesting chemical combination to perfectly integrate functionalized finishes by printing it on the fabric.
The Tanatex insect proof concept is an innovative and well-known functional finish for the apparel market. It can be used to protect people against harmful mosquitoes or to keep their woolen carpets safe from moths.
Thanks to reflected far-infrared energy, the Tanatex Qi-tex finish sends energy back into the body, resulting in an improved balance.
All solutions are focused on reducing resources while increasing user safety. For example, an attempt was made to replace as many hazardous or polluting chemicals with greener alternatives, increasing the safety of both the textile manufacturers and the end consumer.
At the Techtextil, antimony and halogen free flame-retardant agents and formaldehyde-free solutions will be shown.
For the improvement of the hygiene in the apparel or home textiles Microban anti-microbials can be used.
Tanatex solved a critical problem for an automotive company by providing them with the right binder.
