The fiber auxiliaries division of Zschimmer & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG Chemische Fabriken, Lahnstein, is continuously updating its product range of spin finishes and lubricants. The modernized pilot plants allow the increased requirements from the market of technical yarn and carpet yarn manufacturers to be met.
At the Techtextil 2019 the focus will be on new spin finishes for the manufacturing of PET technical yarn in neat oil application and HMLS products in emulsion application.
The new products – further developments of the TC series – have especially been optimized in terms of thermostability and fume formation at the high process temperatures of 250°C.
The optimization of products for the HMLS process in close cooperation with machine manufacturers and customers concentrate on high affinity for an even application during the emulsion application.
The range of products for technical fiber applications and hygiene nonwovens has been expanded with new products.
The portfolio also includes fiber-fill applications as well as spin finishes for the production of short-cut fibers. Finishes as after-treatments for fibers and nonwovens, e.g. to provide a durable hydrophilic effect on hydrophobic spunmelts, complete the product range.
