Based on the expertise of coatings on flexible substrates like fabrics and laminates, the Carl Meiser GmbH & Co. KG, Albstadt/Germany, a lot of research has been invested in the technical coatings nopma in 3 different product groups which will be presented on the Techtextil as all-in-one solutions and commission coatings.
nopma anti-slip is an anti-slide solution for numerous mobile and stationary products. With the expertise of the development laboratory of nopma the formulation can be adjusted to the customer’s specific needs. Today many anti-slip solutions according to OEKO Tex 100 are available. Customization like colors, logos and designs are normal. The product range is used for example in automotive, furniture, medial and caravanning industry.
nopma extreme ceramics protects fabrics and laminates against extreme abrasion. It is used for workwear, gloves, furniture and special demand fabrics which are used for military uniforms. Varying from light abrasion resistance up to extreme protection according to DIN EN ISO 388 class 4 it can meet the expectations to a full extend. By applying the unique nopma coating, the fabrics remain breathable and flexible while still keeping haptic characteristics. Additional effects like hydrophobic coatings or the integration of flame protection are possible. With those solutions the rising demands on safety and durability of textiles can be met.
