The producer of cellulosic fibers, Lenzing AG, Lenzing/Austria, has appointed Jürgen Eizinger (photo) as the new Vice President of Global Business Management Nonwovens Division effective as of March 1, 2019.
Eizinger will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a variety of business strategies with a focus on driving the awareness of the sustainability focused Veocel brand.
Wolfgang Plasser will assume new role as lead of Global Quality Management (QM) & Technical Customer Service (TCS) to drive Lenzing’s quality control advancement and strategies effective March 1, 2019. Plasser will build upon his 28-year of experience across technical and commercial aspects of the textile and nonwovens industries to focus on enhancing customer-centric quality management systems and sustainability initiatives.
