PHP Fibers
The producer of polyamide 66 (PA 66) for airbag yarns, PHP Fibers GmbH, Wuppertal/Germany, has taken over the Breathair activities from Toyobo Europe GmbH, Düsseldorf/Germany, in Europe.
Breathair is a complex and 3-dimensional fiber structure used in upholstery materials which Toyobo launched in the European market in 2013. Toyobo and PHP Fibers have now agreed that the product will be produced and sold at the Obernburg/Germany site under PHP management. PHP Fibers will use the available production facilities, and Toyobo will provide its production and process expertise and allow the use of the brand.
