From April 23-26, 2024, the leading international trade fairs Techtextil and Texprocess will present innovations in the field of technical textiles, textile manufacturing and processing technologies. With over 1,600 exhibitors from around 50 countries, both trade fairs reflect the industry's very high level of innovation. Both events promise an in-depth exchange, the presentation of innovations and successful business deals. The strong international participation, with visitors expected from almost 100 countries, confirms their importance for the industry.
In addition to the familiar formats such as the Techtextil Innovation Award, the Texprocess Innovation Award or the Techtextil Forum and Texprocess Forum, the coming editions will present several new special areas. These will include the Nature Performance area, the Future Materials special exhibition and the Emerging Markets area at Texprocess.
Furthermore, innovative start-ups will showcase their products in the 'Textile Production' and 'Functional Materials' start-up areas at the Techtextil and 'Textile Processing Technologies' at the Texprocess.
At the Texprocess, the Denim Hub will once again be presenting sustainable jeans production, processing and recycling. The Techtextil 2024 will present the diverse functionalities of textiles for the apparel industry in the special show Performance Apparels on Stage.
Recycling is also rising in importance due to the increased relevance of sustainability and the growing appreciation and scarcity of resources. With the juried special show Recyclable Fibers & Yarns in Hall 9.1 and Recyclable Materials in Hall 12.1, the Techtextil and Texprocess are focusing on sustainable, recyclable materials and recycling technologies.

Econogy: sustainability and economic efficiency
Messe Frankfurt's global textile trade fairs are promoting the goal of sustainability and economic efficiency by reorienting their sustainable formats under the title 'Econogy', which combines ecology and economy. In cooperation with independent sustainability experts, the current status of recognized seals and certificates is taken into account. The Econogy Finder helps visitors to target suppliers of sustainable products. Econogy Talks and Econogy Tours are also offered.
