Lenzing has partnered with leading beauty and feminine care brands to launch carbon neutral personal care products in the Asia-Pacific region. Under the banner of Lenzing’s speciality nonwovens brand Veocel, this initiative aligns with the company's ongoing commitment to reduce carbon emissions by encouraging the swap of harmful raw materials for more responsible alternatives.

The new products make use of carbon neutral Veocel lyocell fibers, which include facial sheet masks and sanitary napkins. The brands involved in the launch are Taiwanese skincare firm Bridge 24/7, Korean feminine care label Yejimiin and a global healthcare and beauty retailer.
The carbon neutral Veocel fibers are central to the commitment of Lenzing AG, Lenzing/Austria, to sustainability, supporting an industry shift from fossil-fuel based materials towards eco-friendly alternatives. Coinciding with the global trend towards conscientious consumerism, these collaborations are seen as a pivotal step towards encouraging consumers to opt for planet-friendly products.

Veocel supports for the future of the nonwoven industry to be low-carbon and ecologically responsible, adhering to Lenzing's commitment to science-based targets to curb global warming. Carbon neutrality for the Veocel brand is accomplished by offsetting any remaining carbon emissions through advocating for climate projects like reforestation and retiring carbon credits, making significant contributions towards climate action.
