The Swiss textile company, Heberlein, announced the successful completion of its business sale on October 31, 2023. The company, established in 1835 and based in Wattwil/Switzerland, was acquired by a consortium consisting of the existing management, as well as Daniel Lippuner, an expert in the industry, and the long-standing Renaissance investment foundation. From November 1, 2023, the company will operate under the name Heberlein Technology AG, Wattwil/Switzerland.
Heberlein holds a significant position in the global synthetic yarn component market. The company is renowned for its technologically advanced solutions, chiefly in the production and distribution of jets for synthetic yarns. Around 80 employees form the backbone of the company, ensuring quality and reliability for an extensive international clientele.
Long-established by pension funds, focused on serving pension funds, the Renaissance investment foundation, Lausanne/Switzerland, has headlined investments in Swiss SMEs not listed on the stock exchange for the past 2 decades.

The current management of Heberlein will stay in place under the new ownership and all operations will remain in Wattwil. The unchanged business continuity underpins the commitment of the new owners to the enduring success of the company.
"With this sale, we are opening a new, positive chapter in the company's long history. With the Renaissance investment foundation, we found an owner who is focused on long-term success.”
Martin Zuercher, CEO of Heberlein
