Materials science company Hologenix scored a double victory at the ISPO Textrends Fall/Winter 2025/2026 Awards. Its Celliant with Repreve Nylon and Celliant Print both won awards in the Fibers & Insulations Category, highlighting their innovative use in sports apparel manufacturing.
Celliant uses an embedded blend of IR-generating minerals in fibers, yarns, and fabrics to create bio-responsive textiles for global brands across various sectors. This includes apparel, sleepwear, bedding, upholstery, uniforms, and medical supplies.
Celliant with Repreve Nylon, developed in collaboration with Unifi Inc., Greensboro, NC/USA, the creators of Repreve, incorporates Celliant's infrared (IR) technology into a leading brand of recycled fiber. Made from 100% recycled materials, this strong, stretchable, and silky fiber finds its application in various clothing items like underwear, stockings, socks, base-layers, and beyond. It transforms body heat into infrared energy to improve local circulation and cellular oxygenation, finding favor in outdoor/sportswear, outerwear, and swimwear as well.

On the other hand, the Celliant Print broadens the reach of the IR-generating bio-ceramic mineral blend from Hologenix, LLC, Pacific Palisades, CA/USA, by offering it as a printed coating. Unlike traditional Celliant applications, where the product is directly embedded into fibers, yarns, and fabrics, the print version adheres to a wide range of fabric types. It has been tested extensively for durability, lasting up to 50+ washes.
These innovations contribute to creating sustainable products that are beneficial to humans and the environment while widening the applications of Hologenix’s IR technology.
