New appointment to Executive Committee

Carbios has announced the appointment of Sophie Balmary to its Executive Committee. She will take up the roles of Director of Human Resources and Legal Affairs.
Carbios SA, Clermont-Ferrand/France, aims to leverage Balmary's expertise to facilitate growth within the company and streamline organizational changes. One of her primary responsibilities will include fostering talent and creating a conducive working environment. Other than this, she would work towards safeguarding Carbios within the framework of industrial and commercial development. Balmary will directly report to Emmanuel Ladent, the CEO of Carbios.

Before joining Carbios, Balmary gained extensive experience in several multinational industrial companies. She started her career at Renault in 1995 as a lawyer, contributing to major projects involving the Group's legal modifications and mergers & acquisitions. Later she took on key roles in the Human Resources Department, including managing the setup of the Head Office and Social Relations for France. Before joining Carbios, she served as Michelin's Director of Social Relations, France.
In her new role, Balmary is expected to accelerate the company's mission to introduce plastic and textiles to the circular economy. Her focus will be on developing the commitment of the workforce, ensuring company compliance, and setting Carbios towards sustainable growth.
