The members of the Federation of Reinforced Plastics (AKV), Frankfurt/Germany, have elected their Executive Board at a members’ meeting in Stuttgart/Germany on September 10, 2019.
Dr. Tilman Schultz, CEO of Cemo GmbH, Weinstadt/Germany, and AVK Board member for many years, was no longer available for re-election and has been succeeded by Gerhard Lettl, CEO of C.F. Maier Europlast GmbH, Königsbronn/Germany.
Dr. Michael Effing, CEO of Amac GmbH, Aachen/Germany, was confirmed as Chairman of the Board at the constitutive Board meeting on November 25, 2019. Dirk Punke, CEO of Büfa Thermoplastics Composites GmbH, Oldenburg/Germany, was elected as Deputy Chairman, while Prof. Jens Ridzewski (IMA Materialforschung und Anwendungstechnik GmbH, Dresden/Germany) was elected as Treasurer. Michael Polotzki, CEO of Menzolit SrL, Turate/Italy, also continues as a Board member. The Executive Board will be in office for 3 years from January 1, 2020.
