$1.5 Million to support corona virus relief efforts

VF Corp.

A contribute of $1.5 million has been announced by the VF Foundation, the private grantmaking organization funded by VF Corp., Greensboro, NC/USA.

These funds are intended to support local communities around the world as they respond to the corona virus pandemic. They will be provided as financial support to the Colorado Covid-19 Relief Fund, CDC Foundation Emergency Response Fund and the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

In addition, VF Foundation is partnering with the apparel manufacturer VF Corp., Greensboro, NC/USA, and its portfolio of brands to initiate a two-for-one community match campaign for up to an additional $500,000. All employees of VF Corp. and consumers of its brands, including Vans, The North Face, Timberland and Dickies, are invited to contribute. Funds raised through the community challenge will go to Global Giving, Washington, DC/USA, a strategic support organization, evaluating and addressing the greatest community needs in countries in which VF Corp. has a meaningful business presence.
