Founded in 2017, the startup Labfresh, Amsterdam/Netherlands, is already Europe’s biggest seller of hydrophobic ant-bacterial shirts.
The company produces hydrophobic and anti-bacterial cotton apparels for men. All fabrics and products are made in Switzerland, Portugal and Romania and are certified by Oeko-Tex and bluesign. The startup understands itself as an alternative to fast fashion and overconsumption. Labfresh sells directly to consumers via a webshop and crowdfounding, without wholesale and with only 1 retail location in Amsterdam. So far the company sold 40,000+ products to 98 countries.
The startup was presented at the 1st Startup-Days of the 58th Dornbirn Global Fiber Congress (Dornbirn GFC) in Dornbirn/Austria from September 11-12, 2019.
