Acushnet Holdings Corp., Fairhaven, MA/USA, a leader in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of performance-driven golf equipment and golf wear, have announced the acquisition of KJUS, a premium global ski and golf sportswear company and brand of skiwear manufacturer LK International AG Cham/Switzerland.
KJUS entered the golf outerwear and apparel markets less than a decade ago with a focus on comfort, freedom of movement and all-weather protection. Acushnet expects to continue to run KJUS’s operations from its global and North American headquarters in Hünenberg/Switzerland and Boulder, CO/USA. The ski and golf divisions will be run by long-time company leaders Nico Serena and Brooke Mackenzie, respectively. Luke Reese, who has been instrumental in the establishment of the KJUS golf business, and Didi Serena will continue their involvement with the company as special advisors.
