Reset final conference

Interreg Europe

The EU project Reset (Research Centres of Excellence in the Textile Sector) aims to support politics in the implementation of regional strategies and programs of structural fund support.

After more than 4 years of cooperation between the important textile R&D centers around Europe, the final conference of the Reset project organized by Interreg Europe, Lille/France, will be held as an online event on January 19, 2021.
The interregional learning has constituted the basis to promote the sustainability of the textile sector: 60 good practices addressing key topics such as textile recycling, water consumption and energy saving, new sustainable chemistry, smart textiles, natural fibers, new materials and applications have enabled partners to develop actions plans to improve innovation policies at regional level.
The final conference will show how the exchange of good practices in topics related to the sustainability in the textile sector has been translated into Action Plans, how the sector has reacted to the corona pandemic supporting the health system with the production of PPEs and how innovation and sustainability can help the sector in the future to deal with the crisis.
