The new generation of PU films of the DuploTEC SBF (Structural Bonding Films) range from Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG, Neuwied/Germany, reflects the innovative character of adhesive bonding and takes functionality and process integration to a new level.
The textile value chain is already changing today and integrative manufacturing techniques are becoming increasingly important. This trend will continue in the near future and adhesive technology in general as well as the use of film adhesives in particular will increase.
Thanks to the special latent-reactive curing mechanism, the high performance tapes from Lohmann can resist high shear forces while offering elasticity and preserving the textile character of the bonded fabrics. Areas of application are therefore diverse: the latently reactive polyurethane films can be used in areas ranging from Buildtech, Indutech, Medtech, Mobiltech and Protech to Sporttech. As usual, adhesive tapes are quick and easy to handle and dimensionally stable, they can be pre-applied and easily integrated into production processes. The product properties of good long term durability and high temperature resistance with low activation temperatures of 90°C and extremely short cycle times of only a few seconds are equally fulfilled.
This year, the company will also exhibit a processing machine, enabling visitors to experience the possibilities of adhesive bonding solutions.
