The international technology group Andritz AG, Graz/Austria, has received an order from Karweb Nonwovens, Gaziantep/Turkey, to supply a complete neXline spunlace line. The new production line is dedicated to produce viscose and polyester wipes as well as biodegradable wipes – the start-up is scheduled for the beginning of 2021.
The scope of supply by Andritz includes the complete opening and blending machinery, 2 inline high-speed TT cards, a JetlaceEssentiel unit for hydroentanglement including a water filtration unit, a neXdry through-air dryer and a neXecodry S1 system for energy management. This will enable Karweb to deliver an annual production capacity of up to 18.000 tons of fabric. This continues a cooperation that started in 2017 with the first supply of a spunlace line provided by Andritz to Karweb.
